OTOH it also sounds quite depressing that lots of what we have
learnt in the past now has to be thrown away. I suppose it is

Here is my use case
i display a list of elements (taken from the database) with a link per
item. (this is working correctly)
whI would thank you Tobia and Joerg for the answers.
But please using Cocoon includes putting images into the pure XML files
(saved by MS Office 2003) too right?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advHi all
I 'm getting through some troubles with a trasformer I 'm developing.

How did you define your Sitemap-Servlet?
Try something like this in applicationContext.xml

I 'm following the advice Grzegorz gave me about coding my custom
URL-rewriting logic into an input module and using that input module
with the LinkRewriterTransformer and wherever else I need Hi Thomas
I understood the structure of new MS-files with .***X extension. Thanks for
your answer!
The problem is that the users only have MS Office 2003.
I made a test here after your answer and Thanks for the answer Philippe!
So if my users only have Microsoft Office 2003 can 't I do anything to
change text (keys by values) and substitute text keys by image with Cocoon?!
Best regards
LuActually there is 3 office file formats
* pre office 2003 binary format cocoon has a serializer for excel
via gnumeric xml.
* since office 2003 pure xml format cocoon can handle Hi
OOo files (and newer MS-files like docx) are zip files with multiple

Somebody told me that it should be created in a XML-based way with the
